WHEN TO SEND STUDENTS HOME/STAY
HOME FROM SCHOOL
- Vomiting
- Severe Diarrhea
- Fever > 100 degrees
- Complications from a chronic disease such as Diabetes, Asthma, Epilepsy, etc.
It is important to understand that is is at the nurse's discretion to excuse a student to home. If a parent/guardian decides their student should go home, and they are not excused by the nurse, a written note/excuse blank must be filled out by the parent. This includes a student texting their parent to come to get them.
SCREENINGS:
All Screenings will be done in school, except for physical and dental exams, which can be done by a family physician.
**Physical & Dental Exams are due at the start of school
MEDICATIONS:
Only the following list of medications have been approved by our school Physician and can be given to students:

**Any other prescription or over-the-counter medications must have written order from a Doctor and be brought in by the parent/guardian.
