    What makes West York Awesome?

    •  It takes a village to raise world-class students, and we do it the best!

    What would you say the most important issue is before the Board right now?

    • The most important issue on the board right now is ensuring that our kids graduate with a well-rounded education that helps create world-class citizens.

    Where do you see the District in 5 years, and how do you see your role on the Board as an integral part of the future?

    • I see this district continuing to grow and develop with our changing student population. It’s so hard to predict the future; however, we have a solid foundation so our future will be bright!

    What people might be surprised to know about you?

    • You would be surprised to know that my mom and I learned how to be Flying Trapeze artist while in France. In case you were wondering we will not be invited to do it again anytime soon as it was not our best skill set.

    What is one piece of advice you would share with our high school seniors?

    • Take multiple internships during your college career and try different jobs in the summer. The more exposure you can get in different areas the more likely you will know what you like and dislike in the future.

    What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

    • One thing I would do even if I did not get paid to do it is coach sports! I love helping to mentor young athletes. The thrill of the competition and watching their growth is so fulfilling.
