Welcome to Trimmer Elementary School
Greetings Trimmer Families!
I am pleased to join you as the Interim Principal at Trimmer Elementary School this fall, while Dr. Minacci is on assignment as the Acting Middle School Principal. A recent retiree, after almost three decades in a York County Public School District, I have served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent.
I earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University, a Principal’s Certification from McDaniel College, a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University.
My husband, also an educator in a York County School District, and I live locally. We are the proud parents of two adult children, two dogs, and a kitten.
I look forward to partnering with you to ensure that Every Student Every Day has an exceptional experience at Trimmer Elementary!

Dr. Payne is serving as the Interim Principal while Dr. Minacci is on assignment as the Acting Middle School Principal.
Dr. Payne is a seasoned educator, and we are pleased that she has agreed to bring her leadership experience to Trimmer. She served several years in Northeastern School District as a teacher, principal, and the assistant superintendent before retiring in January 2024. Dr. Payne holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University, a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University.
