• A Note From Our Nurses:
When to Send Students Home/Keep Them Home From School

    • Vomiting
    • Severe Diarrhea
    • Fever > 100 degrees (Students may return when 24 hrs. fever free).
    • Complications from a chronic disease such as Diabetes, Asthma, Epilepsy, etc.

It is important to understand that it is at the nurse's discretion to excuse a student to go home.  If a parent/guardian decides their student should go home, and they are not excused by the nurse, a written note/excuse blank must be filled out by the parent.  This includes a student texting their parent to come to get them.
