West York’s Mission of Every Student Every Day is designed to prepare our graduates for a lifetime of personal and professional fulfillment. The Administration Office is home to the West York Area School District Board of Directors and several administrative departments which are critical to achieving this Mission and providing a positive and successful K-12 educational experience for our Bulldogs and their families.
The School Board of Directors is the governing body of the District. Board and Committee Meetings are held in the Administration Boardroom on a regular basis. Contact information for each Director can be found on our Board of Directors page.
The Superintendent’s Office oversees all aspects of District operations and works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the District upholds its commitment to our families and community to provide an exceptional education for the students of West York.
The Assistant Superintendent’s Office is an extension of the Superintendent's Office and oversees Curriculum and Instruction, which encompasses several departments, including K-12 Education, Federal Programs, Staff Development, Special Education, Pupil Services, and Registration.
The Business Office encompasses District operations to include Buildings and Grounds, Student Nutrition, Transportation, and Budget and Finance.
The Human Resources Office oversees all aspects of recruiting, employment, District volunteers, and employee relations.
Additional departments in the Administration Office include Communications, Safety and Security, and Technology.
