West York Area School District is a public school entity located in south-central Pennsylvania serving approximately 3,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade who live in the Borough of West York and the Township of West Manchester.

Four High School students recently took home awards in the annual West York VFW Post 8951 audio-essay contest. The topic for this year's contest was "What Makes America Great?"

WY Varsity and JH Cheerleaders visited the residents at Rest Haven on Jan. 23rd. The Bulldogs spent time making new friends and giving the residents manicures!
The Middle School Future City group won the Best City Layout at the Future City Competition on Jan. 25th at the State Museum in Harrisburg.
The Competition is a nationwide non-profit engineering competition for middle school students.
